Year 5 is a very important year. The children need to come to school every day. Poor attendance can affect the level the children achieve at the end of the year.

 

Please ensure the children wear school uniform every day. When they are dressed for work they are more likely to be focused on their learning.

P.E

Our P.E day in Year 5 is on Tuesday. Please make sure a labelled P.E. kit (including suitable footwear) is kept in school and only taken home for washing during the holidays. Please ensure that P.E kit is suitable for both indoor and outdoor activities. School PE kits can be purchased from the main reception.

Homework

• Homework given out on Fridays and needs to return by the following Friday.

• Homework will consist of Spelling, Literacy, Numeracy or topic.

• Children should be reading at home on a daily basis.
