PE and ICT

Every Tuesday, all classes in Year two take turns to access ICT , physical development and Welsh activities. Children need to bring appropriate PE clothing every Tuesday with suitable footwear in order to take part in both indoor and outdoor physical activities. School PE kits can be purchased from the main reception.

Homework

Homework is sent on a weekly basis from class teachers, which includes both literacy and numeracy. Some of our homework will be set online using the Seesaw App. All children will be given log in details in order to access their weekly homework online. We encourage parents/guardians to assist children with their homework so you are aware of the skills they are developing.

 

An important part of Big maths is Learn Its. These are given out throughout the year. Please can children practise their Learn Its at home.

Snack

Pupils in Year 2 have toast given to them at play-time and therefore they no longer need to bring in snack money.

 

They are given milk during story time at the end of the day
